The electronic medical records developed in the PriCare project (RefCare) are currently used in 31 reception centers in three German federal states. The introduction of the software in more reception centers is being planned.
A list of 65 indicators was developed in the research network PriCarenet and has been adopted by consensus. Through the surveillance module integrated in RefCare these indicators can analyzed locally, using local routine data, simply by clicking a button.
