The objective of the project is to improve availability and quality of health data for the asylum seeking population in German reception centres through the development and implementation of (1) electronic medical records tailored to care provision in reception centres (RefCare), and (2) by using a “hive approach” to enable routine, multi-centre surveillance and reporting of health and health care based on defined health indicators that are comparable between facilities, regions, and over time.
